Our plans

 

The proposed layout has been developed in response to defined constraints and opportunities in line with a series of design principles identified within the Built Development Framework plan within the Strategic Sites Master planning SPD (Draft June 2018).

  • Blue asterisk indicates proposed affordable homes. The tenure split will have to be agreed with the Council

Currently we are working up plans for the site and would welcome feedback from the community as well as key stakeholders at the New Forest District Council. Your feedback will help to shape the proposals which currently comprise:

 
  • At least 100 new homes including a proportion of affordable housing

  • Access to the site from both Everton Road and Silver Street

  • Retained landscaping and integration of existing vegetated field boundaries into an interconnected Green Infrastructure network

  • Public access to the site and improved connectivity to wider public routes into the countryside

  • A sympathetic approach to the character of Everton Road and Silver Street to ensure the plans assimilate positively into the location
